Pose is an American show TV arrangement about the African-American and Latino trans, gay and sexual orientation nonconforming dance hall culture scene in New York City during the 1980s and, in the subsequent season, mid 1990s. Highlighted characters are artists and models who vie for trophies and acknowledgment in this underground culture, and who bolster each other in a system of picked families known as Houses.

Made by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals, the arrangement debuted on June 3, 2018, on FX. The arrangement stars a troupe cast including Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Billy Porter, Indya Moore, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Charlayne Woodard, Evan Peters, Kate Mara, James Van Der Beek, Hailie Sahar, Angelica Ross, Angel Bismark Curiel, and Dyllón Burnside.

The main season was met with positive audits upon its debut and in this way gotten various honor designations including the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama for Billy Porter. In July 2018, it was declared that the arrangement had been restored for a subsequent season, which debuted on June 11, 2019. Likewise in June, FX reestablished the arrangement for a third season.

Pose season 1 is set in 1987–88 and takes a gander at “the juxtaposition of a few fragments of life and society in New York”: the African-American and Latino ball culture world, the downtown social and artistic scene, and the ascent of the elitist Trump milieu.

The subsequent season starts in 1990.
